Location Report

Many of the exterio shots will be shot on this residential street. The street is fairly quiet and empty so its a great filming location and also it is wide. We needed it to be wide in order for our shots to work, including follow on, long shots and mid shots. Also, the fact that its a residential street is a bonus. The long street of houses will link in perfectly with the homely feel we are trying to give to the peice.

Some of the exterior shots will be shot outside Sharlene Kawooya's house. We chose this house in particular as it si a semi detatched house with a gate and veryt aspirational rather than an apartmentv or a flat. It also has a 'homely' feel to it. We need our video to 'hit home' for our audience so they really understand the concept of it and how it relates to themselves and people they may know.
This is the staircase that we are going to use for the intimate interior shots. The lighting regularly is quite dark in this are of the house but Sharlene and I have the idea of using extra lighting and trying to defuse it to make it look alot more professional on camera. The scenes that are going to be filmed here are Shot No. 16, 17 and 18 of the storyboard.
